Online Student Activities

These activities can be played online and don’t require downloads.

Online Switch Activities:

Simple Activities Using a Single Switch (that advance with a single click i.e., cause-effect)

These activities can be accessed through a SwitchClick, a single switch connected to a computer switch interface, or by a mouse or touch window.

More Complex Activities Using a Single Switch (using auto-scanning or requiring timing)

These activities can be accessed through a SwitchClick, MiniClick, or a single switch connected to a computer switch interface.

Activities Using Two Switches (step scanning)

These activities require a switch interface that has jacks for “Space”, “Enter”, and “Tab” such as:
Don Johnston’s Switch Interface Pro or the StealthSwitch AT.

Online Mouse Practice Activities:

Learning to Move and Click a Mouse (very basic, for initial learning)
These activities may be accessed with a mouse, trackball, trackpad, joystick, or a head mouse.
Note: If a student is not yet able to move the mouse to a target and needs to practice just "clicking" the mouse, use the "Simple Activities Using A Single Switch" at top of this page for practice activities.

Learning to Drag with a Mouse

These activities may be accessed with a mouse, trackball, trackpad, or joystick. A head mouse may be used, but may require additional software to enable the dragging option, such as: Magic Cursor, Gus! Dwell Cursor, or SmartClick.
