Activities Using a Single Switch (using
auto-scanning or requiring timing)
These activities can be accessed through
a SwitchClick, MiniClick, or a single
switch connected to a computer switch
interface.
Activities Using Two Switches (step
scanning)
These activities require
a switch interface that has jacks for Space,
Enter,
and Tab
such as:
Don Johnstons
Switch Interface Pro or the
StealthSwitch AT.
Online Mouse Practice Activities:
Learning to Move and Click a Mouse (very
basic, for initial learning)
These activities may be accessed with a
mouse, trackball, trackpad, joystick, or
a head mouse.
Note: If a student is not yet able to
move the mouse to a target and needs to
practice just "clicking" the mouse, use
the "Simple Activities Using A Single
Switch" at top of this page for practice
activities.
Learning to Drag with a Mouse
These activities may be accessed with a
mouse, trackball, trackpad, or joystick.
A head mouse may be used, but may
require additional software to enable
the dragging option, such as:
Magic Cursor,
Gus! Dwell Cursor, or
SmartClick.
